Job Overview
We are seeking Hip Hop Dance Instructors to add to our substitute list AND to fill openings coming in the next few months.
Our Instructors teach adults-only classes in a low-pressure, beginner-friendly environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hip hop and experience teaching. This role involves teaching one hour classes for beginner to intermediate adult students (18+) while fostering a love for dance and movement. The Instructor will be responsible for lesson planning and classroom management to ensure a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging dance lessons that cater to the skill levels of students.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all students during classes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hip hop instruction is preferred.
- Strong skills in classroom management and lesson planning.
- Experience working with adult students is a plus.
- A passion for teaching dance and inspiring others is essential.
