American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg travel position requiring a TN or compact RN license and prior Med/Surg or telemetry experience.

Acute care hospital Med/Surg unit

Patient ratio of 1:7

Night shift schedule: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)

36-hour weekly work commitment
-
Every other weekend required

Floating required
-
No on-call responsibilities

13-week contract

Active TN or compact RN license required
-
Current AHA BLS certification required (AHA only)

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Prior Med/Surg and/or Med/Surg Telemetry experience required

Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)

Contract RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities
