Contract to Hire Clinical Documentation Specialist
We are seeking a remote CDI Specialist for full-time work. This individual will be responsible for reviewing provider documentation and sending queries to providers
Location: Remote
Schedule: M-F daytime hours
Onboarding Requirements: Drug screen- tests for nicotine
Duration: 6 months contract
Requirements:
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) and have one of the following coding certifications: CCS or CCDS or CDIP
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management or Health Informatics
Must have 4 years’ experience in nursing or inpatient coding with 2 years’ experience of CDI
Experience at larger hospitals with at least 200 beds
3M 360 experience
Preferences:
Academic medical center experience is preferred
Epic experience is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
