Position Requirements:
- Must be flexible with scheduling during the first 90 days of employment and be available to assist with vacation coverage and other operational needs as required.
- Participation in an on-call rotation is required. An additional weekly bonus is provided for on-call status.
- Must work scheduled shifts as a Medication Technician and/or Care Partner several times each week to remain familiar with residents, observe changes in condition, understand evolving care needs, maintain competency with medication administration processes, and provide direct support to the care team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Resident Care Coordinator is required.
- Experience performing second checks of medication orders and primary care provider (PCP) orders as well as provider notices etc.
- Computer experience is required.
- Proficiency using an electronic Medication Administration Record (eMAR) systems.
- Experience scheduling resident medical appointments.
- Experience completing quarterly resident evaluations and assessments.
- Experience conducting and documenting incident investigations.
- Maintaining medical charts appropriately and timely.
- Proficient in using Dropbox and other electronic software programs and documentation systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
