What the Roles Look Like:A & B-Level Technicians (Heavy Repair & Diagnostics)
- Run advanced diagnostics on complex electrical, mechanical, and drivability issues.
- Perform major component repairs and replacements (engines, transmissions, suspension, HVAC).
- For A-Techs: Mentor the next generation of techs in the shop (helping the whole shop run more efficiently).
Maintenance & C-Level Technicians (Express & Light Repair)
- Perform high-quality fluid exchanges, oil changes, tire services, filter replacements, and brake jobs.
- Execute thorough, digital vehicle inspections to help advisors communicate needed repairs to customers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace while actively learning advanced repair techniques.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Tools: You have your own tools and a rolling box appropriate for your experience level (we provide specialized shop tools and heavy equipment).
- Experience/Certifications:
- For Maintenance: A solid work ethic, basic mechanical aptitude, and a desire to learn.
- For A/B Techs: 3+ years of professional shop experience; ASE certifications are highly preferred.
- The Matt Blatt Mindset: Strong attention to detail, a team-first attitude, and pride in keeping drivers safe.
- Requirements: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
