Optimum Primary Care Clinic is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team! As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring the efficient operation of our clinic while delivering high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Escort patients, take vitals, and prepare examination rooms.
- Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures.
- Perform basic medical procedures and document patient information.
- Schedule appointments, manage inquiries, and maintain electronic medical records.
- Coordinate referrals and assist with patient paperwork.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and stocking of supplies.
- Assist with medical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Provide educational materials and guidance on healthcare topics.
- Address patient questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
