Warehouse Operator
Location: Plymouth WI 53073 or Sheboygan WI 53081
Glacier Transit & Storage, Inc., is a cold storage and transportation company with warehouses throughout Sheboygan County.
We are seeking reliable Warehouse Operators to join our team at our Plymouth and Sheboygan locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and shipping orders, using a scan gun, managing and organizing stock, and operating a forklift.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming deliveries
- Pick and fill orders
- Manage and organize materials
- Operate a forklift to move and stack materials
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Ensuring that all food products are handled and stored in accordance with food safety regulations
- Performing regular inventory checks and maintaining accurate records
- Loading and unloading trucks
Requirements:
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift preferred
- Base knowledge of computers and scan guns
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
