Essential Functions:
- Measure surface area of ceiling to determine necessary material needed.
- Accurately cut tiles according to fit specifications in the desired space. Fasten tiles onto the framing
- Ensure precise installation by trimming the edges of tiles when necessary
- Safe removal of existing ceiling tiles from premises
- Speak with clients in an easy-to-understand manner and answer any questions thoroughly
- Coordinate with other professionals on job-site when additional work or work coordination is necessary
- Transport needed tools and equipment to jobsite.
- Follow company and industry safety guidelines and regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience, technical skills & attributes required:
- At least 2 years of experience working with ceiling/acoustical tiles
- Able to provide own tools
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools to install ceiling/acoustical tile
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a drug test
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing, bending, or climbing ladders
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
