- 2+ years of experience in robotics, automotive, hardware testing, field operations, or a related technical environment.
- Familiarity with automotive and/or computer systems, with strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience following detailed test procedures, documenting results, and tracking issues using ticketing tools.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Comfortable working outdoors and riding an electric bike in a hands-on testing environment.

About the Job
- Job Title: Operations/Test Technician I - 36989 - Onsite
- Location: Oakland, CA
- Duration: August - December 2026
- Hours: This role requires working Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4pm, with occasional overtime. There may be a need to rotate between shifts to support operational and business needs. There will be a two week notice provided whenever this is needed.
- Pay Rate: $35 - $37/hr. On W2
- Earn a $500 referral bonus once your referral completes 90 billable days.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a strong operator to carry out the bring-up, calibration, testing, and logging of new advanced technologies, working inside and outside at a closed course test track in Oakland. In this role, you'll report to the Team Lead and be a core member of our End Of Line Team. This role requires you to be comfortable with riding an electric bike.

- Work closely with multiple stakeholders to improve the product, including hardware, product, and software.
- Execute and document tests to verify autonomous technologies, including understanding behavior, product capabilities, new and existing issues, and added requirements.
- Rigorous attention to process, testing programs, and checklists, ensuring high levels of safety as well as efficiency and reliability of new products.
- Regularly communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to assess robot behavior and triage issues.
