Duties: - Perform deep tissue massages, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques based on client needs - Assess clients' conditions and medical histories to determine the most suitable massage techniques - Provide acute pain management and occupational health services through massage therapy - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care - Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend exercises or stretches for continued improvement - Adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and safety protocols Experience: - Proven experience as a Massage Therapist in a clinical or spa setting but will entertain a newly licensed therapist - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Proficiency in performing deep tissue massages, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic techniques - Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively to patients' needs - Ability to assess patients' conditions accurately and develop appropriate treatment plans - Strong customer service skills with a compassionate and caring demeanor Requirements: - Valid Massage Therapist license in the state of Florida.
