At Braintrust, we're a smart, passionate, and collaborative team of marketers, strategists, and creatives who help brands grow through insight-driven strategy and fearless creativity. We transform businesses through bold ideas fueled by data, instinct, and street smarts.
We're looking for an organized, curious, and motivated Account Coordinator to join our Account Services team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in advertising and marketing while gaining hands-on experience in a full-service agency environment.
As Account Coordinator, you'll support the Account Services team in keeping client work organized, moving, and on track. You'll learn our clients' businesses, coordinate projects across departments, assist with reporting and research, and develop the skills needed to grow into greater account management responsibilities.
What You'll Do
- Support the Account Services team in the day-to-day coordination of client accounts and marketing initiatives.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take thorough notes, and develop clear, actionable client and internal meeting recaps.
- Maintain project timelines, task lists, approvals, and deliverable tracking to help keep work moving forward.
- Coordinate with creative, digital, media, PR, and social teams to gather information, communicate updates, and help ensure deadlines are met.
- Learn our clients' businesses, industries, competitors, audiences, and marketing objectives.
- Assist with research, competitive audits, marketing plans, campaign development, and strategic recommendations.
- Compile monthly reports and help track campaign performance, KPIs, and key takeaways.
- Proofread and review client-facing materials for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
- Help prepare presentations, creative briefs, reports, and other client-facing materials.
- Track client feedback, approvals, outstanding items, and next steps.
- Stay current on marketing trends, platforms, tools, and industry developments.
- Uphold Braintrust standards of excellence in both work product and client service.
What You Bring
- 1–2 years of experience in marketing, advertising, communications, social media, or a related field; agency experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing fundamentals.
- Experience with reporting, research, content development, or campaign coordination is a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, project management platforms, social media management tools, and Adobe applications is a plus.
- Confidence communicating with teammates and a willingness to grow into client-facing responsibilities.
- Curiosity about marketing strategy, consumer behavior, creative work, and how businesses grow.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to jump in wherever the team needs support.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related experience.
What Will Make You Successful
- You're exceptionally organized and follow through on the details.
- You listen first and ask thoughtful questions before jumping to conclusions.
- You're curious about the bigger picture, not just the task in front of you.
- You communicate clearly and aren't afraid to ask questions when you don't know something.
- You notice things others might miss.
- You take ownership of your work and learn from mistakes.
- You anticipate what needs to happen next rather than waiting to be asked.
- You can juggle multiple priorities without letting details fall through the cracks.
- You enjoy collaborating with different personalities, departments, clients, and industries.
- You're eager to learn how great marketing strategy becomes great creative work.
- You want to grow, not just complete tasks.
