Hawthorne Chevrolet is seeking a talented Sales Manager to join our growing team. As part of our management team, you will be directly responsible for all aspects of the sales department. Responsibilities:
· Ensure that the dealership meets its new vehicle unit sales quotas and its objectives on a daily and monthly basis
· Strategically plan and ensure that the retail units sold assist the dealership in reaching its profit objective on a monthly and annual basis
· Supervise sales staff
· Ensure all aspects of inventory, advertising and ensure deliveries are controlled professionally as well as cost-effectively
· Responsible for administrating the department’s daily operations and coordinating activities for all department employees
Job Requirements/ Qualifications:
· Minimum of three (3) years prior sales management experience in an automotive sales environment
· Must have valid and clean driver’s license
· Must have demonstrated leadership ability with motivational skills and proven customer relations skills
· Ability to work independently to solve problems and operate in a multi-tasking environment
· Strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated organizational ability with level of attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively.
