INDUSTRIAL OUTSIDE SALES

Paramount Supply is a locally owned industrial distributor that specializes in the sale of pipe, valves, fittings (PVF), steam products, instrumentation, gaskets and much more. The company was founded in 1954 and has grown to 20 locations across 7 states. Our Kennewick, WA store is seeking an Outside Sales. Must be driven, personable, analytical, have strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). A strong technical skill in the fields of piping systems, valves, sealing products (gaskets, packings, mechanical seals, etc.), pumps, steam and condensate systems and similar applications to support our full line of product offerings is required. Candidates must have the ability to learn details of new products and be willing and able to present these products to our customers. Customer service is Paramount!
Responsibilities
- Provides existing and new clients with excellent customer service and solution based sales.
- Generates sales leads, follows up on referrals, and qualify potential customers.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers through regular calls (phone, email and in-person), timely follow-up, and regular site visits.
- Submit salesperson reports in a timely manner following company protocol.
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT: Field sales, customer sites, offices, manufacturing facilities, and other environments. Daily Paramount Supply office check-ins and some office work expected.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years sales experience with a proven track record of sales success and an understanding of the Pipes, Valves and Fittings (PVF+) industry required.
- Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies preferred
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills preferred
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and/or with a team to meet or exceed goals

Pay: $50,000 - $70,000, Salary plus bonus. Pay is based on experience.
