Iroquois Community School is seeking a Boys Soccer Coach for the 2026-2027 season. The position assists with conducting practices, attending meets, motivating students, and instructing student athletes in strategies and techniques.
Job Summary:
This position is part of the Extra Duty schedule and pays $3,960.00. Practices and meets are scheduled and will be shared during the interview process. The position will run between August - October 2026. Practices are held at Iroquois Community School and typically run from 2:45 - 4:00 PM or 6:45 - 8:00 AM three days per week. Games in the regular season run from 2:45 - 6:00 PM.
Qualifications:

Experience with coaching youth or high school athletics.

Organizes and directs individual and small group practice activities/exercises.

The coach will instruct players in the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport.

Models sports-like behavior and maintains appropriate conduct towards players, officials, and spectators.

Performs support tasks such as distributing and maintaining eligibility forms, emergency data cards, and other related records.

Teacher Licensure preferred but not required.

District 62 has approximately 4,800 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools and 1 year-around, K-8 school. This assignment will be at Iroquois Community School.
