Gross Weekly Pay (Traveler): $1,861.24/Week( Includes Lodging & M&I Stipends $1,246)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Atlanta, GA for a 13-week travel assignment within the Respiratory Care / Diagnostic Services Department. The Respiratory Therapist will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients with a wide range of cardiopulmonary conditions, working closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, evaluate, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Administer respiratory treatments including oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator management.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP devices, and other respiratory care equipment.
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpret results as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Active Georgia Respiratory Care Professional License
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care hospital respiratory therapy experience preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour Day shifts
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications may be required depending on unit assignment.
