What You'll Do

- Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly journal entries and financial statements.
- Administer quarterly business tax filings and prepare annual 1099s.
- Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and audit process.
- Set up new vendors, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare deposit and cash reports, and review employee expense reports for accuracy.
- Maintain organized, up-to-date financial records and documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–3+ years of general accounting experience; property management/real estate experience a plus.
- Solid grasp of GAAP and full-cycle AP/AR processes.
- Proficiency in Excel and comfort learning accounting/ERP systems (e.g., AppFolio, QuickBooks).
- Sharp attention to detail and a knack for solving discrepancies before they become problems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
- A trustworthy, discreet approach to handling confidential financial information.
- CPA, CPA-track, or CMA a plus — not required.
