About us: The Queen has been a staple of Wilmington entertainment for 15 years now. The venue includes two stages, three rooms, a large industrial kitchen, and an indoor/outdoor bar. Our specialty is live music, but we also host weddings, parties, corporate events, and more.
About the role: With 45,000 square feet of space, keeping up with The Queen’s facilities is one of the most important roles in the venue. Facilities staff must be able to complete basic to intermediate cleaning and repair tasks. Staff must also be able to work in a team setting, and demonstrate excellent customer service when interfacing with guests, artists, and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep and mop floors
- Clean restrooms and kitchens
- Collect and take out trash throughout the venue
- Keep the venue clean and orderly
- Set-up and breakdown events
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Can work in a fast-paced setting
- Has availability during nights and weekends
- Works well with others
- Follows instructions to complete tasks
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
