Thankfully, that's not universally true.
This opportunity is for an Audit Senior Manager who enjoys leading clients, solving problems and developing people, but has no interest in collecting 70 hour weeks like they're some sort of professional achievement.
You'll join a growing Real Estate practice where demand is creating opportunity, not panic.
The clients are established developers, investors and construction businesses. The work is complex enough to keep you interested, but the expectation isn't that you'll sacrifice every evening to get it done.
You'll own engagements from start to finish, become a trusted advisor to your clients, work closely with the Partners on bigger decisions and have real influence over how the team operates.
In other words, you'll be treated like the Senior Manager you've worked hard to become.
Outside of busy season, 40 hour weeks are the norm. During busy season, expect around 55 hours rather than the marathon shifts that somehow became acceptable elsewhere.
Hybrid working, minimal travel, full healthcare, 4 weeks PTO, increasing with service, and a bonus structure that actually rewards success all come as standard.
They're looking for a CPA with 5+ years in public accounting and strong Real Estate audit experience. Beyond that, they want someone who enjoys building relationships, mentoring people and taking ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.
