BACA Machine Operator — Colorado Custom Stone

About the Role
As a BACA Machine Operator, you are at the heart of our fabrication process. You'll be responsible for operating, maintaining, and feeding our BACA machine to produce precise cuts that set the standard for the finished product. Your consistency and attention to detail directly impact the quality our customers expect.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the BACA machine to fabricate stone materials to specification
- Stage, position, and load product onto the machine accurately
- Inspect and align correct tooling before each run
- Load programs and monitor machine performance throughout production
- Unload finished pieces and perform quality checks to ensure they meet standards
- Utilize overhead pneumatic vacuum lift to safely move parts
- Physically lift and handle substantial stone materials as needed
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and report equipment issues promptly
- Participate in production improvement efforts and maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior BACA machine or stone fabrication experience is a plus
- 1–2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable operating machinery and learning new software/programs
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Reliable, team-oriented, and motivated to grow
Schedule
- Day Shift | Monday – Friday
- Overtime available as needed

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
