Key responsibilities include:
- Provide warm, informed, and professional customer service that reflects the Blue Oak brand.
- Assess customer needs and recommend products (flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, topicals, tinctures, etc.) based on desired effects, experience level, and consumption method.
- Perform accurate ID verification and follow all age- and purchase‑limit compliance procedures.
- Operate POS, handle cash and card transactions, process returns/exchanges per policy, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training and help merchandise and restock the sales floor to keep displays elevated and accessible.
- Support inventory accuracy by assisting with daily counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Help create a clean, safe, and welcoming retail environment; participate in team meetings and contribute to continual improvement.
