As we prepare to open our tuition-free public charter school serving grades PreK–5, ¡HOLA! Elementary is seeking highly effective teachers who are excited to help launch a school where both the arts and dual language instruction are celebrated and deeply embedded in daily learning. While our arts programming will be a highlight, our core academic program will set a high standard of excellence—one that supports and challenges emergent bilingual learners through interdisciplinary, thematic instruction.
We serve a diverse student body drawn from across Manatee County, including students from public, private, and charter schools.

What You’ll Know and Do
Teachers at ¡HOLA! Elementary are expected to understand and apply the foundations of arts-infused learning and dual language literacy development. They integrate the arts—music, theater, dance, digital, and visual arts—into their teaching to support diverse learning styles and create joyful, inclusive classrooms.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction aligned to the Florida B.E.S.T. Standards across all content areas.
- Actively participate in collaborative planning, grade-level meetings, and professional development.
- Demonstrate strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exhibit patience, empathy, and integrity, especially when navigating challenges.
- Embrace leadership opportunities, including implementing new strategies that support the school’s mission.
- Understand the unique structure and responsibilities of a charter school environment, including governance, operations, and funding.
- Contribute to a positive school climate, fulfilling regular teacher duties, and supporting school-wide initiatives.
- Show flexibility and a good sense of humor in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
Requirements:
- A valid Florida teaching certificate or a Certificate of Eligibility for grades K–5.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree or higher preferred).
- Completion of all required certifications and endorsements as mandated by law.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
