The Doctor's Office is a well-established family medicine practice seeking a dependable and compassionate Medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy skills to join our team.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in providing excellent patient care. This position combines traditional medical assistant duties with in-office phlebotomy and laboratory specimen collection.
Responsibilities
- Room and prepare patients for provider visits
- Obtain vital signs and patient histories
- Administer injections and perform EKGs
- Assist providers with patient care and procedures
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
- Process laboratory specimens and maintain laboratory supplies
- Document accurately within the electronic medical record
- Coordinate patient communication and follow-up care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Previous medical office experience preferred
- Strong phlebotomy skills required
- Family medicine experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday through Friday
- No weekends
