On behalf of a premier, Louisiana-based leader in industrial safety and emergency response services, providing mission-critical protection and compliance solutions to operators across the industrial and energy sectors, PCG is seeking an HR manager. The position requires precision, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to safety. Following a period of rapid growth and strategic acquisitions, they are looking for an experienced, resilient HR professional who isn't looking to just "maintain" a pre-built system, but who is excited to take full ownership, optimize infrastructure, and support a workforce of approximately 350 employees. They are looking for a hands-on, working manager and departmental visionary. If you thrive in autonomy, love bringing order to a fast-paced, evolving environment, and want a seat at the table with executive leadership, this is your sandbox.
The HR manager is the day-to-day owner of employee relations, workplace compliance, and the company’s adherence to federal, state, and industry-specific labor regulations. Serving as the operational backbone of the HR function, you will manage the entire employee lifecycle while partnering closely with executive leadership to mitigate risk and drive organizational discipline.

- Manage third-party compliance tracking platforms crucial to oilfield and industrial clients.
- Coordinate and document pre-employment and random drug-testing programs in strict alignment with industry and DOT/non-DOT standards.
- Conduct routine internal compliance audits across personnel files, I-9 records, and medical files to ensure audit readiness for regulatory and client reviews.
Employee Relations, Risk Management & Claims

Onboarding, Offboarding & Benefits
- Own the onboarding pipeline: manage new-hire paperwork, background screening (FCRA compliance), drug testing, and deliver orientations highlighting company safety culture.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including tracking life-event changes, leading annual open enrollment, and driving employee education.
- Conduct structured exit interviews, track retention trends, ensure the return of company property, and coordinate final pay processing.
Payroll Support & System Optimization
- Provide critical structural support and oversight for an ADP payroll transition.
- Verify employee file updates affecting compensation (promotions, status changes, deductions, benefits adjustments) and partner with accounting to ensure seamless, accurate bi-weekly processing.
