Job Title: Tumor Registrar / Oncology Data Analyst (Remote)
Location: Remote (Atlanta, GA)
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks with Possible Extension
Shift: Monday – Friday | 5x8-Hour Days
Flexible Work Window: Schedule may be worked anytime between 4:30 AM and 11:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tumor Registrar / Oncology Data Analyst for a fully remote contract opportunity supporting a leading healthcare organization. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented oncology data professional with expertise in cancer registry operations, abstracting, staging, and regulatory reporting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of oncology data while supporting cancer registry compliance and quality initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Tumor Registrar experience – Required.
- Associate Degree (AA) – Required.
- Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) or Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) Credential – Required.
- Strong knowledge of:
- SEER Coding Guidelines
- AJCC Staging
- NAACCR Standards
- Commission on Cancer (CoC) Requirements
- Oncology abstracting and case finding
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
