Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual counseling and therapeutic services to clients in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and required reports.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment goals as needed.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in accordance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues, healthcare providers, schools, and referral sources to coordinate client care.
- Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates should possess one of the following credentials:
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor Permit Holder (LMHC-P)
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Additional qualifications include:
- Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience providing outpatient mental health counseling.
- Ability to maintain accurate, organized, and timely documentation.
- Experience working with diverse populations and a broad range of mental health concerns.
- Commitment to ethical practice and client-centered care.
