We are mainly a residential construction company in Springfield, IL that specializes in siding, windows, roofing & gutters. We are looking for a full-time bookkeeper/ secretary.
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years accounting/bookkeeping experience.
- Proven experience as a Secretary/Bookkeeper or similar role
- Microsoft windows & excel, general computer skills.
- QuickBooks knowledge is a must.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, responsible, and efficient
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Ability to work independently and with other when needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares - Weekly, Monthly and Yearly reports.
- Works with accountant to provide necessary information.
- Review timesheets, and process payroll with QuickBooks & direct deposit.
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to all relevant accounting policies and procedures
- Create and send out invoices for all jobs.
- Create job folders for new jobs.
- Answers incoming calls.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
