About the Position
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associates to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting with various retail operations. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with the public. Your contributions will help create a positive shopping experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with showroom products, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and properly handle different methods of payment
- Execute point of sale and customer service standards based on company guidelines providing courteous, friendly, fast and efficient service
- Support inventory accuracy through accurate completion of all required point of sale and merchandise disposition practices
- Participate in daily service processes (e.g., register and cash balancing, change orders, replenish supplies)
- Assist with floor set execution, window changes, visual presentation, and marketing placement as needed.
- Assisting with maintaining a clean, organized showroom floor for customers to easily shop & enjoy.
- All store positions require constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting. Associates are expected to climb ladders, lift, reach, bend, and kneel to obtain products for customers and to maintain the visual appearance of the store. Associates should be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Qualifications/Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in a floral design-retail setting.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience with merchandising techniques and stocking procedures is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse customers.
- Strong phone etiquette is essential for handling customer inquiries over the phone professionally.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Must be available to work 8:00am – 4:30pm. Monday- Saturday
Pay: $18.00 per hour
