Job Summary
The Architecture Department is currently seeking a Temporary Architecture Administrative Support to join their team of professionals.
Under direct supervision of the Manager Administrative Services for the School of Architecture (SoA) which includes the Architecture, Interior Architecture (IAR), and Landscape Architecture + Environmental Urban Design (LAEUD) departments, provides clerical and administrative support to the School of Architecture.
Duties include:

Provides administrative and clerical duties to support daily operational activities for the SoA.

Serves as a secondary liaison for the SoA. Assists with managing internal and external correspondence and documents for the SoA. Assists with SoA records management.

Assists with resolving a wide variety of complex situations and conflicts involving the functions of the SoA office. Notifies the SoA Manager Administrative Services of any matter that needs immediate attention.

Assists with submitting the SoA class schedules, maintain class schedules, reassign classrooms (as needed), and monitors class caps. Track placement in studios across the SoA.

Assists with the hiring process of adjuncts, students, and temporary employees for the SoA. Submits contracts for adjuncts and other contract requests for the SoA.
Handles confidential HR issues using good judgment. -
Assists with unencumbered payments, purchase orders/invoices, and Smart billing for the SoA.

Assists with meeting preparation in collaboration with SoA Senior Special Events Manager, as needed.

Attends and prepares meeting minutes for the SoA, as needed.

Assists with travel expenses and reports for the SoA.

Assists with processing requests for the SoA study abroad program.

Assists with collecting syllabi and assessments for the SoA.

Assists with managing book adoptions for SoA.

Supports the Manager Administrative Services with accreditation requests, as needed.

Assists with proving admin support for the SoA faculty searches, including posting external ads.
Assists with managing the SoA access requests, and maintenance requests, to include office equipment, furniture, and general facilities issues.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of office or related experience providing administrative support, or coordinating functions of an office or department; OR six (6) years of office related experience: OR equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
