Overview
Willie C. & Sons Landscaping is looking for hardworking, dependable individuals to join our Landscape Maintenance team. Landscape maintenance is our primary focus throughout the growing season, and many of our team members transition into snow removal operations during the winter months. Applicants must be willing to participate in winter snow operations as a condition of employment.
Whether you have experience or are looking to start a career in the landscaping industry, we're willing to train individuals who have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
What You'll Do
- Mow, trim, and edge lawns
- Perform spring and fall cleanups
- Weed, mulch, prune, and maintain landscape beds
- Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain residential and commercial properties to the highest standards
- Keep equipment and job sites clean and organized
- Work safely while representing the company in a professional manner
Winter Responsibilities
As the landscaping season comes to an end, our crews assist with snow and ice management. Responsibilities may include:
- Operating plow trucks
- Running skid steers, loaders, snow blowers, or other equipment (training provided as needed)
- Shoveling and clearing sidewalks and walkways
- Applying ice melt and other de-icing materials
- Working flexible hours during snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Willingness to participate in winter snow removal operations
Preferred (but not required):
- Previous landscape maintenance experience
- Experience operating commercial landscaping equipment
- Experience with snow removal equipment
