Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a blend of creativity, efficiency, and the ability to work well under pressure, ensuring that each guest receives an outstanding experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage cash handling procedures accurately, including processing payments and maintaining the cash register.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, including banquet events and catering functions.
- Utilize Square and TouchBistro POS systems for order entry and payment processing efficiently.
- Assist in training new staff members on bar operations, customer service standards, and food handling practices.
Skills
- Proficient in Square or TouchBistro POS systems is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell beverages and menu items effectively.
- Previous fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
- Experience in the food industry, including restaurant or catering settings, is beneficial.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
