A Message from Our Founder
At Açaí Super Bowls, we don't just build event teams—we build people. This company was built on loyalty, hard work, and trust. We show up for each other. We do things the right way, with integrity. And we believe everyone deserves the chance to grow if they're willing to earn it.
This compensation program is designed to reward character and commitment. It exists to recognize the people who give their best, stay dependable, and help the team win. If you're someone who keeps your word, takes pride in your work, and treats people with respect—you will always have a place here.
We don't tolerate drama, laziness, or entitlement. We stand for effort, honor, and team unity. When we win—we win together. When we grow—we grow together. And when we build leaders—we build them from within.

If you're looking for flexible, event-based work that keeps you moving, gives back to the athlete community, and serves real food with purpose — you might be a great fit.
The Role: You Are the Engine
As a Team Lead, you run the booth from start to finish. You're the first one there and the last one to leave. You're not above any task—whether that's scooping bowls during a rush, coaching a new crew member, or troubleshooting a POS issue. You think three steps ahead, keep your team focused, customers happy, and operations flowing from setup to breakdown.
This isn't a "manage from the sidelines" role. You're in the booth, leading by example, jumping in where needed, and setting the standard for how Superbowls operates.
What You'll DoPeople + Flow: Lead Your Team
- Arrive the day before each event to complete initial booth setup
- Show up 1 hour early on event day with one staff member to fully prep (POS system, inventory check, staff briefing)
- Assign and rotate stations (Scoop, Production, Cashier) based on team strengths and flow needs
- Monitor booth dynamics in real-time—jump in to relieve bottlenecks, maintain pace, and keep energy high
- Ensure team wellness: manage staggered water and food breaks so no one burns out
- De-escalate issues quickly and professionally—whether it's team tension or customer complaints
- Engage positively with customers and event staff to build relationships and reputation
- Communicate timing (last call, breakdown) and rally the team through the final push
- Provide on-the-job training to new crew members—model the standard, then coach them to it
Product + Safety: Maintain Excellence
- Uphold ServSafe standards at all times (gloves, hair nets, handwashing, etc.)
- Assemble açaí bowls to order with proper portions and presentation
- Monitor the topping bar every 30 minutes for freshness, cleanliness, and restocking needs
- Quality control scoop consistency: bowls should be 8.5–9.5 oz, properly filled, and Instagram-worthy
- Prevent allergen cross-contact: confirm proper labeling and handling of peanut/almond butters
- Maintain cold chain: ensure scoop freezer stays at 10°F or below throughout the event
Operations + Reporting: Own the Details
- Set up and break down booth using daily checklists (tent, signage, product prep, equipment)
- Open and close operations—nothing gets missed
- Submit event reports within 3 business days: sales totals, team hours, tip splits, inventory notes via shared tracking system
- Ensure POS readiness: charged, connected to WiFi, and functioning before service
- Make supply runs as needed: you have discretion up to $1K for Costco, Smart & Final, Home Depot, etc.
- Clean up, restock, and secure all equipment and inventory
- Communicate with HQ within 12 hours of shift close: share wins, flag issues, report vendor or equipment needs
