Panel Wirer / Electrical Control Panel Technician

X-Bar Automation is a growing UL 508A control panel manufacturer serving customers in the automotive, industrial automation, and manufacturing industries. We take pride in building high-quality electrical control panels and are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Panel Wirer to join our team.
Position Summary
The Panel Wirer is responsible for assembling and wiring industrial electrical control panels according to electrical schematics, layout drawings, and UL 508A standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
· Wire industrial electrical control panels from electrical schematics.
· Install wire duct, DIN rail, terminals, relays, PLCs, power supplies, VFDs, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
· Route and terminate wires neatly using company wiring standards.
· Label wires and components accurately.
· Read and interpret electrical schematics and panel layouts.
· Verify all wiring before panels move to testing.
· Troubleshoot wiring issues as needed.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
· Assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
· Ability to read electrical schematics.
· Experience using hand and power tools.
· Strong mechanical aptitude.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Reliable attendance and positive attitude.
Preferred
· 2+ years of electrical control panel wiring experience.
· Experience with industrial control panels.
· Familiarity with UL 508A construction practices.
· Experience wiring PLC-based control panels.
· Knowledge of Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, or Phoenix Contact components.
· Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
