We’re looking for an experienced Solar Roof Leadto run residential detach & reset (solar removal and reinstall)jobs. This role is hands-on and crew-leading — not sales, not new installs. If you know how to safely remove solar, protect roofs, and put systems back the right way, we want to talk.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead a crew on residential solar detach & resetprojects
- Remove and reinstall existing solar systems during reroofs
- Handle racking, panels, wiring management, and roof penetrations
- Make sure flashing and waterproofing are done clean and correct
- Read plans and layouts (nothing crazy, just know what you’re looking at)
- Keep the job moving and make sure quality stays high
- Communicate with project managers on job status and issues
- Leave the job site clean and homeowners happy
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of residential solar experience
- Prior lead / foreman experiencepreferred
- Strong roofing knowledge (shingle, tile, flat roofs)
- Solid experience with detach & reset / R&R work
- Comfortable working on roofs and lifting up to 75 lbs
- Knows how to run a crew without micromanaging
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
