Production Associate (SDF – Spray Dryer Facility)
Location: Codis, Seymour, IN. Shift: 3rd Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Sunday Night through Friday Morning
Position Summary
The Production Associate will support daily manufacturing operations in the Spray Dryer Facility at Codis in Seymour, Indiana. This position is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment and processes, handling and weighing materials, performing in-process testing and final product inspection, packaging products, and completing accurate batch records and documentation. The Production Associate will also assist with blending, sifting, milling, equipment cleaning, and other manufacturing activities as needed.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, able to work effectively as part of a team, and capable of operating industrial equipment. This role requires the ability to work on 3rd shift, stand for extended periods, and perform physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, twisting, and frequent hand movements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate various manufacturing processes in the Spray Dryer Area

Perform all aspects of manufacturing, including material weighing through processing, in-process testing, final product inspection and packaging.

Perform other manufacturing functions as assigned, such as blending, sifting, milling, always maintaining accurate and up to date documentation

Complete batch records for every batch according to the SOP's.

Able to operate, troubleshoot and train on all unit operations within their area of responsibility.

Maintain production equipment and facilities in a clean and orderly manner.

Train less experienced department members in all facets of Codis operations and established plant SOP and cGMP procedures; ensure the training of the operators.

Assist other operators upon completion of assigned tasks.

Review batch records and other GMP related documents for accuracy.

Assist in other areas of manufacturing as needed (i.e. packaging, material handling, etc.).
Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED

Strong verbal and written communication

Comprehension of basic math and reading skills

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Physical Requirements
