What You'll Do
- Build relationships with new and existing customers while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Generate sales through walk-in traffic, phone calls, referrals, and follow-up opportunities.
- Identify customer needs and recommend the best tire and wheel packages.
- Explain financing and rent-to-own options clearly and confidently.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective customers using the company's CRM system.
- Process customer applications accurately and efficiently.
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
- Work closely with management and service technicians to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain product knowledge on current tire brands, wheel styles, promotions, and services.
- Keep the showroom clean, organized, and presentation-ready.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory awareness, and promotional events.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of retail sales experience (automotive, tire, wheel, furniture, electronics, or rent-to-own experience preferred).
- Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and a flexible retail schedule.
Computer & Technical Skills
Successful candidates should be comfortable using technology throughout the sales process, including:
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software for tracking leads, follow-up activities, appointments, and customer communications.
- Microsoft Word for creating and editing documents.
- Microsoft Outlook for email communication and scheduling.
- Basic Microsoft Excel skills for reviewing reports and tracking sales performance.
- Accurate data entry and keyboarding skills.
- Ability to learn and navigate point-of-sale (POS), financing, and inventory management software.
- Comfortable working with multiple computer systems simultaneously while assisting customers.
Time Management & Organization
This position requires exceptional organizational skills, including:
- Managing multiple customer opportunities simultaneously.
- Prioritizing follow-up calls and appointments throughout the day.
- Completing paperwork accurately and on time.
- Staying organized in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Meeting deadlines while maintaining outstanding customer service.
- Effectively balancing sales, administrative tasks, and customer follow-up.
