Job Description: As Hand Finisher your primary role will include, but will not be limited to, deburring and sanding finish-machined parts to ensure that they meet blue print specification before shipping to our customer.
Requirements:
· Positive attitude and works well with others.
· Self-motivated and high attention to detail.
· High school diploma (or equivalent).
Responsibilities:
· Using pneumatic die grinders, remove any mismatch or rough finishes to meet tolerances.
· Deburr all sharp edges using hand deburr tools and sand paper.
· Clean and prepare parts for quality inspection.
· Maintain all hand finish equipment and maintain cleanliness in the hand finish department.
· Maintaining inventory of hand finish supplies. (Discs, cartridge rolls, sand paper, dust masks, etc.)
· Work with QA, Shop Management, and Engineering to identify areas for improvement in the machining process.
