About the Role
We're looking for passionate, craft-focused line cooks to join the kitchen team at The Pheasant — an upscale, wine-forward restaurant set in a historic farmhouse in Dennis Village on Cape Cod. We celebrate local producers, seasonal ingredients, and thoughtful cooking done with genuine care.
Compensation
Starting at $20/hr, with pay based on experience. Competitive wages that grow with your skills and tenure.
Schedule
Full-time and part-time positions available. Evening and weekend availability required. Both seasonal and year-round roles open.
What You'll Do
- Execute dinner service with precision and consistency across all stations
- Prep mise en place to spec and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
- Contribute ideas and energy to a kitchen culture built on craft and curiosity
- Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards at all times
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of line cook experience in a professional kitchen (fine dining or upscale casual a plus)
- Ability to work efficiently and stay composed during service
- Strong knife skills, classic technique foundation, and attention to detail
- Genuine passion for food, hospitality, and working as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to showing up at your best
