Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling manufactured products and pack according to specifications.
Duties:
- Follow company quality policy to ensure the appropriate elements of the Quality System are in place at the assembly workstation.
- Includes but is not limited to packaging, folding and assembly of products Viscot manufactures or distributes.
- Perform assembly and packaging tasks at a workstation adjacent to continuously operating automated packaging equipment with moving conveyor systems and machine compartments that intermittently stop and advance during operation.
- Monitor packaging equipment during operation to ensure proper component placement and quality compliance.
- Other duties may be assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read and understand procedures and complete production paperwork as required.
- Must be able to visually inspect packaging material and finished goods for defects or foreign debris as small as a pinhead while packaging equipment is in operation.
- Detail-oriented and consistent.
- Works well as a productive member of a team.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to work at an assembly or packaging workstation adjacent to continuously operating automated form-fill-seal packaging equipment with laterally moving conveyor systems and machine cavities that stop and advance during operation.
- Required to work near moving mechanical parts.
- Must repetitively use hand and finger dexterity to grasp, pick up, and insert small components into cartons or machine cavities throughout the shift.
- Must be able to stand at a workstation for periods of up to four (4) consecutive hours, with normal scheduled breaks.
- Be able to lift and move materials weighing up to fifteen (15) pounds from floor level to workstation height.
- Frequent repetitive hand, wrist, and finger motion is required.
- Must have sufficient visual acuity (with or without corrective lenses to inspect packaging for defects or contamination as small as a pinhead.
- Work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional moderate noise levels.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
