SKYE Texas Hill Country Resort & Vineyard is seeking an experienced Front Desk Associate with a strong background in hotel or resort front desk operations and proven experience using reservation/booking systems. This role is critical to delivering seamless, high-end guest experiences from booking through departure.

This position requires prior hotel, resort, or comparable hospitality experience, with a strong emphasis on managing reservations, modifying bookings, and navigating property management systems with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Professionally welcome and assist guests with check-in and check-out for Cabins, Nature Pods, and short-stay RV sites.
- Create, modify, and manage reservations using property management and booking systems (daily core function).
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers, vendors, and management in person, by phone, and via email.
- Deliver concierge-level service by providing accurate information about resort amenities, local attractions, and activities.
- Accurately process payments, credit card transactions, and related financial duties.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk, lobby, and guest service areas.
- Communicate daily with management regarding guest needs, operational updates, and maintenance and/or housekeeping requests.
- Assist with stocking, organizing, and keeping the Shop clean and presentable.
- Support Bistro take-out operations by taking guest food orders, ensuring accuracy, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and following food safety standards.
- Serve wine in compliance with TABC regulations, ensuring responsible and professional service at all times.
- Maintain current Texas Food Manager Certification and TABC Certification.
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, and emergency procedures.
- Manage multiple phone lines efficiently while maintaining excellent guest service standards.
What we need from you:
1) Required Experience
- Minimum of one year of hotel, resort, or comparable hospitality front desk experience
- Direct, hands-on experience using a reservation/booking system or PMS (required; applicants without this will not be considered)
2) Additional Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license.
- Certifications: Current TABC and Texas Food Manager Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain same).
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using computers, reservation systems, and property management software.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with guests in person, by phone, and electronically.
- Math Skills: Ability to accurately handle payments and basic financial transactions.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
- Scheduling Requirements: Full-time requires a 40-hour work week, including weekends and holidays. Part-time requires 24-32 hours including weekends and public holidays.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
