Our modern Manhattan Midtown Endodontics office is looking for a part-time dental assistant.
Monday-Thursday 8:30AM-5:30PM+ AND Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM+.
*** Previous experience with assisting endodontists or having an understanding of root canal procedures is a MUST, hourly based on your experience***
Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and treatments, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Assist endodontists during root canal procedures, handing instruments and materials as needed
- Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D CBCT scan, ensuring accurate positioning and image quality
- Perform dental documentation of patient information in Dentrix ASCEND software
- Educate patients on post-operative care, and writing a final report letters to referring doctors when treatments are completed.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols
