Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Dock Worker Duties:
- Load and unload trucks in a fast-paced environment
- Inspect, count, and verify incoming/outgoing shipments
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory
- Rework and rewrap pallets when necessary to ensure load integrity
- Perform cross-docking tasks and ensure goods are properly labeled and stored
- Assist with general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Truck Driver Duties:
- Safely transport goods to and from specified locations
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure trucks are in proper working order
- Ensure proper handling and securement of all freight
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and deliveries
- Comply with all DOT regulations and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required for truck driving
- Experience in both warehouse operations and truck driving is preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 100 lbs)
- Strong communication skills and a team player mentality
