Ramos CS, now a part of Colliers Engineering & Design, is actively hiring a Project Controls III to provide project/cost controls support across the Capital Improvement Program. The Project Controls III will be responsible for project reporting, controls activities that include planning / scheduling, cost engineering, cost estimating, cost analysis/control activities, change management. Directs cost estimating, analysis, and control activities. Directs schedule development, maintenance, monitoring, impact identification, and recovery plan development activities.

Using LAWA's PMIS and other sources, reviews costs and contract performance of the Capital Program and report variances and risks.

Develops programmatic policies, procedures, and reports to ensure proper cost controls across the Capital Program.

Performs independent analysis of project cost and contract performance throughout the project life cycle, including but not limited to, budgeting, invoice processing, progress reporting, resource management, and closeout.

Assists in the development of and administers LAWA's Program Services Budget.

Collaborates with the Program Risk Manager to properly calculate and report project and programmatic risks.

Works to develop tools and coordinates cost recording, monitoring, and reporting practices and compliance with applicable standards, accuracy, and consistency.

Assists and trains cost engineering stadd across the Capital Program.

Collaborates with Finance and the Estimating team on the Asset Register and project Capitalization.

Collaborates with Controls staff on Expenditure Forecasting.

Support controls efforts to respond to internal and external audits.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, business or other related field. Master's degree preferred.

15 years or more of experience, preferably on airport projects.

Previous project controls experience on a large-scale, multi-million dollar construction project required. Experience on a large-scale aviation project is required.

Experience evaluating and reporting on at least two types of Alternative Delivery methods is required.

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of software products, e.g. Excel, Word, etc.

Experience with industry PMIS systems such as PMweb, etc.

Experience with Adobe Acrobat is required.

Experience with Primavera Project Planner Version 6.0 or higher is desirable.
Compensation: $150,000-$175,000 per year (depending on qualifications)
