What You’ll Do
As a member of the Tax Preparation team, Account Managers are among the primary points of contact for our clients. In this role, you will help clients feel informed, supported, and confident in our services throughout their experience with TaxSolve.
This role is primarily service-focused and centers on building strong client relationships through consistent communication, regular follow-up, and dependable support. You will serve as a bridge between clients and tax preparers, helping manage documentation, address concerns, and keep cases moving efficiently from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing knowledgeable guidance and support on tax-related matters.
- Follow up with clients regularly to provide updates, collect needed information, and ensure they feel supported throughout the process.
- Assist clients with gathering documentation and information needed for accurate tax filing, and follow up on outstanding items.
- Respond to client questions, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential client records in compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate closely with tax preparers to ensure cases are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by phone, email, and text, creating an experience that is both personal and professional.
- Support clients throughout the lifecycle of their case, helping them stay informed and engaged.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of professional customer service, account management, or office experience required.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize a shifting workload.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Slack.
- Basic financial literacy.
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
