Key Responsibilities
- Perform pipe welding using MIG, FCAW, and TIG processes
- Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols
- Fit, align, and assemble piping systems and structural components
- Measure, cut, bevel, and prepare materials for fabrication and installation
- Perform pipe fitting duties including threading, bending, rigging, and layout work
- Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure compliance with project specifications and ASME standards
- Troubleshoot and repair piping systems as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all OSHA and company safety procedures
- Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to meet project schedules and quality expectations
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter in manufacturing, industrial, or construction environments
- Strong experience with MIG, FCAW, and TIG welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications
- Working knowledge of ASME welding and piping standards
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime and meet production deadlines
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, or fire sprinkler piping systems
- Previous fabrication shop or industrial manufacturing experience
- Ability to pass a 6G Combo welding test on Schedule 80 pipe preferred
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus
