Our debt collectors are self-motivated, reliable negotiation experts who care for our customers as well as our company. They are responsible for contacting debtors who are past due on accounts and securing payment arrangements.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive Inbound and outbound calls in an attempt to obtain payment on delinquent accounts.
- Required to meet established metrics including not limited to exceeding monthly quota, call quality parameters, call attempts, and etc.
- Eligible to earn incentive based on excellent job performance.
- Execute and understand all aspects of FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, and all aspects that govern our industry.
- Maintain attendance and punctuality
- Provide consistent follow up on delinquent accounts.
- Effectively communicate with customers and management daily.
- Analyze and solve problems daily.
- Utilizing a variety of skip trace tools when necessary.
Job Qualifications
- As a critical and essential part of their job, Debt Collectors must be adaptable, assertive, dependable, and persistent in order to successfully negotiate payment arrangements on a file of delinquent accounts. Candidate should be energetic, flexible, empathetic, and must have a positive attitude.
- Professionally negotiates for full payment or creates terms for repayment.
- Payment arrangements are achieved through a combination of manual dialing, skip tracing, and automated dialer work. Strong independent individual that requires minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where changes to procedures are common. Ability to integrate rapidly with an existing team.
- The Debt Collector will initiate contact and evaluate customers’ financial situations.
- Previous collections and/or sales experience. FDCPA Training REQUIRED
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate in a respectful and assertive manner.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize while speaking with customers.
- Proven decision-making ability.
- Stable work history. Basic reading and math skills. Good organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Windows/Outlook with strong analytical skills.
- This is a call center position. It is imperative that you are comfortable executing a job function that requires you to remain stationary for 8 hours at a time.
- Must have excellent “people” skills with strong customer service attitude.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and must be self-motivated.
- Bi-lingual preferred - not required

Salary: $15.00 to $20.00 /hour plus commissions and stretch goals
