Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and tools
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps safely and efficiently
- Prepare surfaces by performing tasks like concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction
- Install rebar, metal studs, framing, and perform masonry work following blueprint specifications and schematics
- Support carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, framing, roofing, stucco application, and restoration projects
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to assist with concrete forming, concrete cutting, plastering, caulking, flooring installation, and other specialized tasks
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive role is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, pouring, cutting, and related processes
- Experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, masonry, roofing, and metal stud framing is desirable
- Comfort with heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment safely in accordance with safety regulations
- Strong understanding of construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, schematics reading skills, and basic carpentry techniques
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to supporting project goals

Pay: $24.41 - $29.39 per hour
