We are seeking a highly motivated Senior International Accountant to support the accounting, reporting, compliance, and financial oversight of our global subsidiaries. This position serves as a key liaison between U.S. corporate finance and international operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and alignment with U.S. GAAP requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with multinational accounting environments, including GAAP consolidations, foreign currency accounting, intercompany transactions, international tax considerations, and statutory reporting requirements. This role will establish and maintain disciplined global reporting processes, set clear expectations with local finance teams, and drive timely and accurate financial reporting across all international entities. The position offers future leadership opportunities as international operations continue to expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for international subsidiaries.
- Prepare and review U.S. GAAP consolidation entries, eliminations, and reporting packages.
- Establish reporting calendars, deadlines, and standardized reporting requirements for international subsidiaries.
- Drive accountability for timely and accurate financial submissions from local finance teams and external accounting partners.
- Coordinate with local finance teams and external advisors to ensure compliance with local statutory accounting and reporting requirements.
- Manage foreign currency translation and remeasurement processes and monitor foreign exchange impacts.
- Perform and review intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and settlement activities.
- Partner with tax advisors and internal stakeholders on international tax matters, transfer pricing, and cross-border transactions.
- Assist with external audits and statutory audits of foreign entities.
- Travel regularly to international locations to strengthen relationships, assess accounting processes, and promote consistent reporting standards and financial discipline.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy, compliance, internal controls, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including multinational or international accounting responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial consolidations.
- Experience with foreign subsidiary accounting and statutory reporting environments.
- Understanding of foreign currency accounting and international financial reporting considerations.
- Experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
- Working knowledge of international tax concepts and transfer pricing.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional and international teams without direct reporting authority.
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally approximately 35–40% of the time.
Preferred
- CPA or equivalent professional certification.
- Experience supporting operations in multiple international jurisdictions.
- Exposure to IFRS and local statutory accounting frameworks.
- Experience with multinational ERP and consolidation systems.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
