We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The Lead Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping the academic experience at our private school.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote literacy education.
- Educate students in various subjects, with an emphasis on Math and other core areas.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with parents, staff, and other professionals to support children’s development, particularly those with disabilities or special education needs.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all students.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; certification in Special Education is a plus.
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in a private school environment.
- Strong skills in lesson planning and classroom management.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for educating children with disabilities.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering student growth and success.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
