Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Acro Teacher to inspire students through the art of tumbling and movement. This role involves designing engaging curricula, leading classes in acro techniques, and fostering a positive environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and physical development. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical skill, creative arts expertise, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children ages 8 to 14. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans focused on acrobatic skills, choreography, and performance techniques with a guided list of expectations provided
- Teach students of varying ages and skill levels in acrobatics and dance
- Foster a safe learning environment by demonstrating proper technique and ensuring adherence to safety protocols during all activities
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain an engaging and respectful atmosphere for all participants
- Support students’ personal growth by providing constructive feedback and encouragement during their training
Requirements
- Experience in teaching acro or related creative arts fields
- Skills in working with children and students with diverse learning styles is a plus
- Knowledge in classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning environment
- Ability to demonstrate technical skills that can complement movement instruction
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners of all ages
