Tutors for Tally is seeking a professional and knowledgeable tutor in the domain of math for students in 3rd - 12th grade. This role is instrumental in helping our students reach their full potential by supporting with current material, while also providing review of previously learned skills. Successful candidates for this position have a working knowledge of the content that is taught in each math course, and the flexibility to adjust to meet individual student needs. Experience may come from a classroom teaching position, or a related field, but would include direct instruction for students.
Key job duties include:
1.) Provide 1:1 tutoring for students.
2.) Record notes about student mastery and progress.
3.) Communicate with parents about student performance and effort.
4.) Maintain professionalism in dress attire, demeanor, and communication.
5.) Consult with the Director in regards to student needs.
